South Central Regional Coordinator

Ricky Kramer, US200023170

Good evening.  October/November was excited with two Featured Games, our Region in full swing into the new chronicle, the further development of the first ever MES National Event in San Antonio, TX, and the creation of our newest unit, the Independent Chapter in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Activity is picking up around the Region and I look forward to this new growth period, let us keep up the momentum.

On the topics of Featured games, Little Rock just put on our 61st Featured Game of the Month here in the South Central region in October and San Antonio hosted the 62nd earlier this month in Novmeber.  Both were excellent events and I want to thank both Domains for showcasing their goods to the Region.

If your Domain wants to continue the trend in hosting the Region in some of the first FGotM’s for the new chronicle (and some of the first overcap XP opportunities), please let us know and we will work with you to make that happen.

Just some of the things on the horizon:

– December (Likely 15th) Online Regional Staff Open Office Hour Q&A Session

– January Featured Game Announcement

– Everything you need to run a Recruitment Game Project

– Continued SCaRE 2014/National Event Development

Also to be sure to keep up with everything going on, and for even more inside information about the activities of our staff and Region please sign up for with one of the following social media feeds, or if you do not use any of these programs, one will be streamed to the website soon.

Continue to be awesome to one another, and please remember we are all here to have fun!  We will see you soon at a Featured game near you.

ARC Events and Services

Rebecca Morgan, US2006037575

Thank you to Little Rock for hosting our October featured game of the month, and to San Antonio for hosting in November!  I’ve heard great things about our features and am looking forward to more great events to come.  On the horizon, we have Dallas, hosting our feature for January.  Keep a look out for list announcements and social media updates for more information!  Applications are being accepted for a featured game of the month for February at this time.  If your domain is interested, but you don’t know where to start, please let me know and I’ll work with you to get your event rolling.

Q: What can you offer in the way of assistance for featured games?

A: As far as support, I can offer advertisement assistance, support from the RC and RST in way of regional meetings and possibly even IC regional plot-hooks and the like. There are also domains that are willing to loan some props, and I would help with coordinating that as well. The only big thing I can’t offer is money, as the region does not currently have a regional fund with the way the organization is working right now. Another perk is that the prestige for features is 50/50 regional and general instead of just general and it’s its own category, so that’s a 50 Prestige cap category that isn’t otherwise included in your awards. I report the prestige for features personally. All you do is supply me a detailed list of who did what and I report it for you. It’s included in the next regional report after you turn in the list. I’m here if you have any questions. My cell # is 210-882-6211. I can answer texts more often than calls, but if you need to call, and I can’t answer, leave a message and I’ll call you back. You can also find me on Facebook at : or email me here at .

1. Answer all questions regarding featured games/events in a timely manner. Progress : Complete/Ongoing.

2. Review and approve/deny bids as they come in. Ongoing. January – Dallas (approved)

3. Updates to lists in regard to events and deadlines. Progress : Ongoing.

4. Solicit featured game of the month bids : Ongoing.

5. Work on MES National 2014 Event Staffing and Setup Event Staff : Complete.

6. Complete MES National 2014 Budget : Ongoing.

Prestige for the Little Rock Featured Game of the Month, October 2013 –

Exceptional prestige awards for the LR feature will be included in next month’s report.  Please note that several awards are capped due to restrictions of category/bullet point. (no more than 30 per bullet point and no more than 50 per category) If you feel that your award is incorrect, please email me at and I will happily discuss the award and which caps/restrictions were used. Similarly, please let me know if I missed something on this report. There are a lot of prestige worthy items at a featured game and sometimes things are overlooked. That can be remedied in an update, but you have to email me to let me know that I need to look into it. Finally, please know that these totals do not take other earnings for the month of October into account. If you have met the caps, then these awards will only take you to the cap and not over it. – Thanks!
