SC ARC Outreach Report – March 2011

SUMMARY

transferring from Little Rock to the new chapter he is forming in Hot

Springs. Advised Brent to send the transfer request to his DC and the

RC. No further questions in this matter.

III. Questions & Answers

******************************************************************************************************

Questions for National:

None at this time.

Answers from Regional:

AR-008-D Jonesboro, AR Domain Coordinator: Tommy Russell, dcjonesboro at yahoo.com

Questions: Lee Stuart, US2002023139 Passed ordeals: Prestige (50G),

ST (100G), and Venue:WoD (50G) on Nov 20, 2010. I know this is past

my window to backdate. I did not see any place on the report to put

this. Is there someone else I need to report this to?

Answer: You can email things like this directly to Paul and me. It’s

always a good idea to include this in your domain report. More

specifically, under the “member tracking and recognition” section…

under the “Members Nominated for Regional Prestige” you can make a

sub-section for “Backdates for Regional to Approve.” Also, this will

be awarded in “VIII. Prestige Awards – Prestige Backdating- Individual

Prestige Backdating by Regional” in this report.

AR-012-D Little Rock, AR Domain Coordinator: Krista Guthrie,

dc.ar012d at gmail.com

Problems: The members of AR-012-D have spoken! We wish to change our

name to (dun dun duuuuuh) – “Theatrical Anarchy”. Please pass this

request up the chain as needed. Thank you!

Answer: I don’t have any issues with that. Send myself and the ANC

Chapter an email requesting the change and it shouldn’t be a problem.

PJH SCRC US2002021986

LA-002-D Ruston, LA Domain Coordinator: Tracey Reeves, rustondc at gmail.com

REPEATED FROM LAST MONTH

Questions: A few months ago the DST served in an AVST position to

myself. He was worried that when the time comes that prestige he lost

would be stripped from his prestige log. Therefore the question comes,

since he was answering directly to me and not himself would his

prestige be stripped should he ever go up for MC9, or is he good?

Answer: It will be adjusted as DSTs can’t get VST prestige. Though if

he was awarded 40G for DST and 10+ for AVST his DST award will be

adjusted to 50G while his AVST award will be adjusted to zero.

OK-011-D Stillwater, OK Domain Coordinator: Ciann Turner,

dc at ivorytower-online.com

Questions: Where do I need to send the reports while the list are down?

Answer: As always, we suggest CCing the ARC Admin and RC at the very

least. The ARC Outreach is also a good person to CC as DCs should be

sending their personal prestige reports to her anyway.

Problems: We are having many people not getting updated after

purchasing memberships including our DC. We have tried the

suggestions in the FAQ and have submitted mantis tickets.

Answer: I emailed Wes about this as many of us are having the same

problem. Here’s the response I got 4/20/11: “Lots of things require

manual intervention right now, but we are still working on it. As of

like 3 days ago, all Mantis tickets should have been handled. I just

expect to need a LOT of them. Definitely start with these, though,

all of which should be updated for the new process now:

http://camarilla.white-wolf.com/usnc/faq.php?cat=30”

LA-005-D New Orleans, LA Domain Coordinator: Aaron Lirette,

domaincoordinatornola at gmail.com

Problems: US2008092896T: Chris Chauvin has reported paying and has

been charged for his membership on his account statement. He did this

awhile back and it still can’t be solved.

Answer: I’m confused; What exactly is the problem? If this is in

regards to the CRD not updating to reflect that he is a paid

membership, please refer to my answer to the above question.

Questions: We’ve lost our Domain fund. Our old DST and DC have yet to

return the money to us. What should I do about this?

I’m also in need of trying to get my own prestige log together…which

if I’m not mistake is out of my hands. What steps should I take to

accomplish this?

Answer: Well not handing over Domain Funds is grounds for being

removed from our Club. And if that doesn’t happen I will use the full

power of this office to make their time in our club not shiny fun

times. As to your prestige log I don’t understand why it’s not in

your own hands, every member is responsible for their own prestige

log. If you need a rebuild that is done by the ANC Chapters.

LA-006-D Baton Rouge, LA Domain Coordinator: Alexander Mckey,

batonrouge.dc at gmail.com

Questions: Several but the important one right now is When do we get

prestige from ICC 2010????

Answer: This is not something that regional can answer. This is

solely in the hands of the ICC 2010 staff and the national office. We

are all waiting on this prestige. Keep an eye out for NC Reports,

which would be the place that has any information regarding this.

IV. Projects

FGotM:

Remember that to “get” a FGotM, you need to submit your bid to Melissa

Johnson (ARC Services). These are a chance to highlight different

domains in the region and to come together as a region for some fun.
