============================================I. Summary—————————————————————————————

This month, I’ve conducted some DC elections, handling Regional Investigations, moved about 40 floating members to what I think is their proper domain, and prepared the RC report. I had intended to do more work on the Regional Disciplinary Action database/archive, but that has been postponed while I oversee the other stuff. I think we are up to date with Regional Q&A. Howie has been super busy with his new job, so I’m helping to cover what I can until his work pace slackens.

============================================II. Q&A, Suggestions, or Comments—————————————————————————————

I ask that anyone contacting the Regional Coordinator Staff, CC me on the email.   This allows me to keep tabs on current events, which in turn helps to ensure that action items are being handled by the appropriate staff member..  Howie has been trusting enough to invest some more authority in me, to make sure stuff gets handled  in a timely manner.

If you have any Questions, Problems, or Concerns that have not been addressed by Regional, please contact me directly. If an issue should arise, please contact me right away, and include it in your report later, if we haven’t resolved it by then.

============================================III. Projects—————————————————————————————

1. Completing Q&A backlog

2.  Continuing to run elections. If you are in need of a Coordinator election, please let me know. 3.  Overseeing Regional Investigations.

4. Prepare the RC report5.  Fielding general Coordinator and Regional Questions. (This is the bread and butter of what I do.  I’m here to help make coordinator’s jobs easier)

South Central Region – ARC Archives and DC Prestige ReportOctober 2007 Table of Contents:I.     SummaryII.    Questions & AnswersIII.   ProjectsIV.   Problems & IssuesV.  Prestige Recommendations  **********************************************************************I. Summary**********************************************************************DC Reporting – Good!  Keep sending me your reports…  I can’t report the prestige I don’t get.

The Archiving portion has been busy plugging away at the glut of old prestige to get into the proper format.  There has been a lot of additional work making sure all finished copies are as complete as possible before being added to the national website. It has been a slow process, but we are getting there.  We also hired some new staffers so this is moving along nicely…

The Rebuild Portion – I honestly haven’t been able to move very far on this.  I am still waiting for the file from National.  I have done some work but have not been able to get any of these off my desk.

********************************************************************** II. Questions & Answers********************************************************************** Could I please get a copy of all of the SC’s Coordinator reports?  I understand there is a CD that I might be able to get.  I am trying to get one from an old ANC Chapters, but haven’t received it yet.

**********************************************************************III. Projects********************************************************************** -Archiving all of the prestige that has been awarded in the SC.

-Helping to rebuild prestige logs for members in question. Lots of Rebuilds!**********************************************************************IV. Problems & Issues**********************************************************************  I have found that there is a great deal of time pre-2002 where the reports for the region are less than stellar.  I am working with National to get our records as good as they can get.  Also, hopefully with the prestige archive coming on line here shortly, this will improve things for future people.  I am also waiting on a CD from the former ANC Chapters so I will have a full copy of the reports…

Rebuilds Still Needing to be done:

Adam Tomplait

Sherry Owen – Rebuild is taking a while, but underway. Waiting on National’s files…

Thomas “Dominic” Foxworthy – Based on the recent restatement from National, this is considered done; if this member needs to get old prestige, he should present the list to the RC and the NC for them to decide what will be awarded.

Elizabeth Strick – Everett – Pending Our original domain was in College Station, TX, and is currently named Midnight Yell; the bulk of Miles prestige was earned while there as he used to be a coordinator.  We were there (Miles)97/99(me) to mid 2000.  We then moved to San Antonio, TX, and joined a chapter that no longer exists called En Vitae Veritas (TX010) in the domain Civitas Immortalis (TXD03).  The RC when we left in 2003 was Kelly Divine who is no longer in the cam and no longer has her files either.  There was some weirdness when we left and were allowed to stay part of the SC region for a year, but I doubt I’ll get to keep any of the prestige from that time due to the ambiguity of my membership since I was violating the rules about joining a local domain.  I had been told at the time that it was approved but I am not totally sure.  Attended and worked at 2 ICCs during that time.

Miles Everett – Pending – October of ’98 in BCS was there until early 2000 then went to San Antonio. Cam#9810-112, US2002022722, and now US2006108843

Crisstopher Walker (might be listed under Criss not Crisstopher) – US2002034639 – I believe it was 1999 in the SC region in Little Rock Arkansas back when it was an independent chapter. I was a VST on three different occasions although I am completely blank on what years…I can say that it has been a very significant amount of time since I have been a VST. At last audit (performed by former DC Laura Hanson) I was MC 6.

It was brought to my attention that Kim Wallach is currently working her fingers to the bone doing ADST work, being a DC, and VST for Lost.  Because she will only be able to get 10 prestige for her VST job (due to cap), I am recommending an additional 10G and 10R exceptional prestige.

ARC: Special Projects – Bert Sanders

Here is the basics of projects report for the month. Main goal is thelist mod prestige project. Once more put the post to the sc-coord listand the region list to get all lists that want prestige to addsclistbot@gmail.com to list to track traffic for awards. This monthhave 1 list that have added the account and trying to get thembackdated to at least start of 2007. As the prestige is based off ofhow busy it is will just from here on list total posts in the month toshow activity and leave to the RC to come up with the breakdown on howto award the 0-10 a month that is allowed.TX-058-d-ST group – Mod: Mike Scott 1 message OctoberWM-Camarilla – Mods: 29 messages  September                       23 messages Octobertwincitiesooc – Mods: Doug Clark 105 messages in September                       179 messages in OctoberSR-Requiem-IC Adam Tomplait US2005085963 – 8 messages January 2007                                       10 messages Feb 2007                                       27 messages March 2007                                       21 messages April 2007                                       21 messages May 2007                                       20 messages June 2007                                       68 messages July 2007                                       142 messages Aug 2007                                       23 messages September 2007                                       121 messages October 2007Still trying to get all the non cam server based lists tracked withthe sclistbot@gmail.com account. Any non camserver list that wantsprestige for modding needs to just add that account to the list (indigest format please) and drop the account a line with who the mod isfor the list. Once a list is added try to go back to Jan 2007 andtrack awards from then as we are so far behind. With the RC’s ok canwork back further as needed but goal is to try first to get the liststracked and awards given for work done.–Bert Sanders – US2002021972SC ARC – ProjectsANC – Admin

Domain Coordinator: Jessica Fazio

Problems:

Teleporting hasn’t been invented yet.

We are aware of this situation, and have underpants gnomes working around the clock to correct it.

Questions:

I’ve got actual, real questions this month… sent in by the ADC Ernie

Ramos. 🙂

1. Would it be possible to add the MC 9+ list to the camscr.org website?

..Brandi is moving to the D/FW area and couldn’t find a easy report of it

approved (she never had her audit locked and therefore never seen on the

usnc site)…and I told her about the mega-domain report log on the

bcs-ooc Files section so she’s going to work on that, but use the MC 9+

list as proof of her MC.

We’ll try to make this happen.

2. Could the Regional Charities be listed on the camscr.org site?

I heard a mention of a charity going on, but don’t remember seeing

anything official except the clothes drive that ended in june

and the pet food charity. The Cam Guide says something about everyone

needs to know about any charity/donation thing so everyone has an

opportunity to donate. It doesn’t seem consistently informed.

We’ll try to make this happen too.

Suggestions:

There needs to be a regional fund to fly me around to visit all my Cam

friends.

At this time we can not divert funds from the underpants gnomes’ research.

Comments: We are ready to apply for Domain Status

Please submit your Domain application to Harley Cox, (harley.c.cox@gmail.com), and Jon Herman (uscamnst@gmail.com)

Domain applications can be found in the unrestricted files section of the CRD.

Buried Hatchets, TX-061-D, Houston, TX — 10/2007

Domain Coordinator: Jeff Duncan, US2002022947

Current Projects:

— We would like to potentially host a featured game sometime in the future

Please contact the ARC Events, Jenni Cross (ladyjara@yahoo.com) for more information about FGotMs

— We would like to begin a major recruitment push to help our ailing

venues (Mage, Werewolf)

Please contact the ARC Recruitment, Teresa Fiveash (scarccomm@gmail.com), for assistance with recruiting ideas.

Problems:

— I have two members, July Dodson (US2002022311) and Melissa Dodson

(US2002023481) who participated in the Regional Meals on Wheels

charity on Oct. 31, 2006, and were never awarded their prestige. Any

news on this would be appreciated.

Email message:

Oct 31, 2006:

July and Melissa donated a combined total of 26 boxes of pasta to

Baytown Senior Center for their Meals on Wheels program today.

26 / 2 = 13 boxes each

13 * 2 = 26 prestige

Capped at 25 Regional each

— I have several MC audits in the works and would like to see these

pushed through if possible.

These should be corrected in Section VIII of the regional report.

Local Officer Prestige

For the month of October reporting cycle, the reporting awards are as follows:

For an Early/On-Time Report: 38 General 2 Regional

For a Late Report: 35 General

No Report: 0 General

NOTE: Notification that a report will be late will result in normal

prestige for that report

I’ve removed formatting as a requirement due to some concern regarding

the duplication of information in the report. A revision is being

made.

NOTE: Starting September reporting cycle, I’ll no longer be offering

10 General prestige for no reports. It was a nice attempt, but It’s

getting in the way of properly recording prestige and awarding those

who may no longer be in office/operating games like they should. From

here on out, I’ll be modifying the recommendations of DSTs for

non-reporting STs to 0.

VST Reports are due on the 1st of the Month

DST Reports are due on the 7th of the Month

ARST Reports are due on the 13th of the Month

Formatting has been ramped up as a requirement for ST reports. The

template for DSTs/VSTs are available via the South Central Region

website, http://www.camscr.org. If that template is not available,

please feel free to contact me at arstadmin@camscr.org and I will send

it directly.
