Been directing email traffic to the appropriate people. Shuffling

unassigned members to their appropriate Domain, and ran the

SCR meeting at USCC. Have begun working on needed elections.

============================================

II. Q&A, Suggestions, or Comments

—————————————————————————————

I ask that anyone contacting the Regional Coordinator Staff, CC me on the

email. This allows me to keep tabs on current events, which in turn helps

to ensure that action items are being handled by the appropriate staff

member.. Howie has been trusting enough to invest some more authority in

me, to make sure stuff gets handled in a timely manner.

III. Projects

1. Running Elections. I’m in the middle of conducting Tulsa’s DC Election,

and we have a few more coming up across the region.

2. Disciplinary Action database.

I. Summary

**********************************************************************

This has been a CRAZY Month. While we were getting the first round of

prestige archivers into the swing of things, I hired a second round. So

between getting everyon up to speed, getting the additional work onto the

yahoo group and trying to add on the DC prestige, it has been CRAZY!

This month I sorted through the old reports we got last month. I know we

are still missing many reports, so I am working with the ANC Chapters, Paul

Hackett, to see if I can get the old records or certain information from

him. As he is new to the office, it might take him a while to get

everything in order.

My team is working on or has completed June 2006-April 2007 reports. Before

I send them up to regional, I want to make sure I have the DC’s prestige in

there.

While I am excited to be handling the DC’s prestige, I am hoping that there

will be a smooth transition for them to get their information to me. Right

now a great many of the DC’s do not have their prestige to me, so this

weekend will be a project of going through the reports to find out when the

various ST’s last had their prestige reported so I can find out what all

needs to be reported.

This month had a big focus on educating the staff, the coordinators and the

region the importance of reporting your prestige as you earn it. Back dated

prestige takes a TREMENDOUS amount of time for my staff to make sense of and

to get it into the right report.

**********************************************************************

II. Questions & Answers

**********************************************************************

How do you want me to handle back dated prestige from now on back?

Coordinators

can do up to 3 months of backdating (based on the Prestige Ordeal), should I

just add them in to the correct month as I have been doing or do you have

another plan? Also, many Coordinators have prestige from their reports that

are more than three months back, how do you want me to handle that? According

to the Prestige Ordeal, they need to be approved by you? Ideas I have are

a) you granting me the power to use my best judgement (which means if it

make sense I will just do it, and if it is odd, like the one I sent you this

month, I will say “HOWIE!!!” (Yes, this means you have earned your

exclamation marks J )), b) send this back dated prestige to you each month

in my report for you to adjudicate, c) whatever genius ideas you have…

ANSWER: Heh! You think I have a genius idea!!! I like option “A”. You are

doing the job cause you can handle it, just like all of my ARCs. If

something makes you feel wonky, send it my way.

**********************************************************************

III. Projects

**********************************************************************

1) Put all of the prestige ever awarded in the SC into the National Excel

Template.

2) Make sense of all of the back reports.

3) Keep the Prestige Archival Team on track, answer their questions, and

monitor their work.

4) Currently hiring new members for the Prestige Archival Team.

5) Get the finished and reviewed reports to Pearce.

6) Make a template to find out which DC’s have had their prestige reported

and when

7) Get all the DC’s caught up to date with their prestige

8) Educate the DC’s on the proper way to do a prestige log and the correct

way to record their prestige so it isn’t stripped at the regional or

national levels.

**********************************************************************

IV. Problems & Issues

**********************************************************************

1) I had to fire one member of the prestige review team

2) As previously mentioned back dated prestige is extremely difficult and

time consuming to work with. I believe you and I have worked out a system

to stop this in the future.

As not really a full on office any more and more of an as needed project

position report not in typical format but just so know what have been up to

in helping the region.

1) DC/DST contact spread sheets – Created and updated sheets for the RC and

RST staff with hire dates, contact emails and domain codes for each Indy

chapter and domain in the region. Will try and keep up dated

as progresses but main goal is for making sure get contact info right and

easy as well as for tracking elections. (Finished)

2) Updated Prestige spreadsheet for region – Another project just to try and

help keep things ordered a listing of people from region at both MC 9-14 as

well as all those with National locks. Including date that lock or approval

at national was gained and totals at that time. (In progress)

3) Staff duty and restructure info – Provided the RC with suggestions on a

restructuring of staff to help with being more efficient and increase the

communication between region and its officers. Guidelines suggestions

submitted to the RC for review and possible implementation down the road

(submitted to Rc for review)

4) USCC – Worked with both the ARC admin and RST to host the regions

meeting. Working to make sure that meeting min get transcribed and posted to

region as well as credit for all non officers who were in attendance

(Request sent for info still pending)

5) Communication project – Trying to work with the RC and ARC admin to

better communication between Rc staff and region as mentioned at the USCC

meeting. Ongoing issue that working on.

Again these just some of the little things been working on with Howie and

HArley for the last month and what I try to do as in effect the RC’s

whipping boy for projects.

Problems & Issues

The issue of getting out info on which months have featured games has been

resolved. But as mentioned above, it would be nice to have a Featured Games

section the the camscr website. Will has been promising to put the Featured

Game bid info up on the website for a while now, but it’s still not on

there.

QUESTIONS FOR NATIONAL:

HOWIE: Wes, do you get to approve my VST prestige? neiner!

QUESTIONS ANSWERED BY REGIONAL:

: Question:

*AR-013-I **Fayetteville** By Night*

Problems/Suggestion s/Comments:

Member Mike Rose as renewed but White Wolf has not giving him his new

number, I well be needing to replace it with his old number when we get his

new number.

Resolution: Have you contacted member services to resolve this? Jamie

Homampour – memberservices at white-wolf.com

*LA-003-D, 05/2007, Blood, Fire, and Fidelity Domain Status Report*

Problems:

1) Josh Todd, US2006037510, had his membership renewed by Benjamin Lanigan,

US2007029416, last month. However, the renewal is not showing in the CRD.

I am in the process of getting into contact with both members to try to

figure out what went wrong and get proof of renewal. Update: I have spoken

directly with Josh and we will be working to fix this.

Response: Excellent. Let me know if I can help.

2) I need to get the Natchitoches chapter (LA-001-C) set as a chapter under

our Domain in the CRD. I have sent some emails about this, but haven’t

heard back. I can’t even see member email addresses until this is fixed.

Resolution: The Natchitoches Domain has been folded as a chapter under

LA-003-D. Everything is squared away in the CRD.

Questions:

1) I wrote the RC in early May with regards to having professional fencers

do a demonstration at the Bed & Breakfast game in July. To date I have not

received a response, although I have both called and sent a reminder email.

Our POC for this project, Jessica Earl, needs to know ASAP what the final

ruling is with regards to this.

Answer 1) Per our phone conversation in May, I told you it was okay. I had

forgotten to put it in writing, though, so, my apologies.

2) Josh Todd, US2006037510, was a temporary member in Florida. He never

earned Prestige and apparently only participated once or twice in their

activities. When I informed him his name and cam number were attached to

the Sarasota, FL domain, he was very confused as he apparently was living in

Orlando and has no idea how he ended up in the Sarasota Domain. Since he

did not earn any Prestige and was only a participant once or twice, does he

still need to go through the formal transfer process?

Answer 2) Technically, yes.

*OK-014-I 05/2007, Harvest Moon Status Report*

Problems: The chapter has accepted Kyle Haines as a member and has voted him

in as Requiem VST.We need his membership to officially be transferred to

Harvest Moon.

Resolution: Done.

*05/2007 TX-059-D Domain Status report*

Problems:

*****Please make a correction to the RC report for February 2007. ******

Corrections needed on Regional Report. Jamiey Nuckols incorrectly identified

as DC and awarded the prestige for the office for the month of February.

Position performed and report done by Haleigh Watson. Please correct this

error and update the regional records. Jamiey is identified as the domain

Coordinator in several places on both the February and March reports. Please

correct.

Answer: Ummmm. No. I don’t want to! So, nyah! I have to check with the NC to

see what the best way to resolve this is.

DC Prestige

(NOTE: Due to ARC Oversight, Most of the DC’s have not received their

prestige in months. I apologize for the delay. This report is after

looking at prestige logs to make sure we are working from correct totals (so

totals may be different here than on previous reports). If DC’s are missing

prestige from late 2006 to early 2007, please do not hesitate to contact me

at Bekkah.anderson at gmail.com to verify their awards.)

NOTE:

Because Diana Brokl, US2002021371, served part of the month as Acting DC and

part of the month as Assistant DC, would you please advise me as to what to

award her for her ADC work or if it will all be folded into her Acting DC

work.
