II. Summary

**********************************************************************

Been trying to keep an eye on the administrative work for the region, while

covering down for the ARC Reports.

****************************** ****************************************

III. Questions & Answers & Suggestions

**********************************************************************

1. I would suggest 10 regional be awarded per flier for participants in the

ARC Events Flier contest, under the Publication and PR category. I would

also suggest recommending 15 Regional be awarded to Jessica Fazio,

US2002034251, for her “Special Projects” assistance to the ARC Events. If

you would like her continued assistance, consider hiring her on as an AARC.

2. We still need Functionality out of the regional website. How is the

Progress coming?

3. Can the documents and training materials used by the ARC Education

office be released to the Coordinators at large, or at least to the RC

staff? I know you have submitted some rough drafts, but to my knowledge

nothing has been polished for distribution. None at this time

**********************************************************************

III. Projects

**********************************************************************

I am initiating a project for all ARC to complete by the 15th of July. Each

ARC will write up their own Job Duties as they see them. Along with a

detailed instruction set of how to fulfill those duties, should that ARC

become unavailable for any length of time. Many of the ARCs have worked for

previous RC administrations, and as such have become experts in how to

fulfill their roles.

**********************************************************************

IV. Problems & Issues

**********************************************************************

1. Many Domains seem to be suffering from a lack of activity according to

the DC reports. Please share what your Domain is doing, and what events are

planned. It is my recommendation that if a Domain or Chapter is failing to

host events (games/socials/charity) as recorded in the monthly report, that

hat the DC should get prestige in accordance with the level of activity in

their Domain/Chapter. It is my opinion that Coordinators should not get

full Officer prestige for an ’empty’ report, even if it is on time.

2. Last Month I recommended that the following Coordinators be suspended

due to lack of completing the Test of the Coordinator:

LA-002-D, Matt Michels, US2003061681

TX-013-C, Carlson, Nicholas, US2005022855

TX-064-D, Shelley Welch US2002066211

TX-065-D, Wren Shafer US2002023656

Since that time the following have completed their Test of the Coordinator:

LA-002-D, Matt Michels, US2003061681, PASSED 2006-05-28 19:02:28

TX-064-D, Shelley Welch US2002066211, PASSED 2006-05-25 19:12:21

6. I have spoken with Joshua Barthelot US2002022460, the interim DC for

Beaumont, TX-064-D, regarding Coordinator issues there. He told me that

Daniel as ARC Arbitration looked into the situation, but then they never

heard anything back. I am now reviewing the materials he has sent me, and

hope to speak with Howie soon to resolve the issues.

I. Working with RC to make sure that all the coords are up to date

in the CRD as well as up to date on ordeals, Had several cords removed this

month for one or the other and working on those elections now.

II. Having just gone through a prestige audit can we make sure that

the assistant prestige is done within the guidelines that the auditors

are using. Loosing over 70 regional prestige for being over the

sugestion of 10 below the cap hurts. If cap is give if could be either

done as exceptional service or noted that it was given for a specific

reason to prevent others from loosing prestige down the road.

III. All the coords should now be placed in the CRD. Working to make

sure that keep the DC’s of elections updated as soon as election

finishes. Still keeping eye on ordeals so that all coords are set

within the 90 day period.

Recruitment Flyers – The contest has ended, only four people submitted

entries, but I think we got a pretty clear winner out of it. Next week I’m

going to be processing the entries and turning them into pdf files. Once

that’s done, I’d like to announce Daniel as our winner.

Featured Games – Dallas asked for information and indicated that they would

like to hold a game in June, but they haven’t gotten back to me with a final

date and location yet. OKC indicated an interest in making a bid for July,

and Odessa indicated an interest in making a bid for August, but neither has

submitted a formal bid yet. I’m in the process of putting together a “how

to” packet on bid submission, so that I can send a more informative packet

to future bid applicants.

SCaRE – Killeen and Tulsa both submitted great bids. Each was given a

chance to submit more information about their bids based on analysis done by

Jessica Fazio and myself. I’ll be discussing the bids with Howie in the

coming days.

IV. Problems & Issues

My cell phone is currently a paperweight. Which means that anyone who needs

to talk to me should call the house phone at 979-693-6222

V. Prestige Recommendations

The following members submitted entries to the flyer contest:

Ernie Ramos III, US2002023705

Daniel Tan, US2005012793

Michelle Rogers, US2002021047

Dennis Gilmore, US2002023507

We never really said how much prestige we were going to give for

submissions, or if multiple submissions would equal more prestige.

Thoughts?

*RC’s note: I like Harley’s suggestion of 10R per submission.*

I would like to recommend the following for their assistance:

Jessica Fazio, Cam # US2002034251

Jess is my right-hand woman, stress relief, second half of my brain, and

general gopher. She’s been a great help in sorting through the SCaRE bids

and offering suggestions.

anything.

Her turn around time on getting me art is usually within one day. That means

she creates the art and sends it to me within one day! I think this is

QUESTIONS FOR NATIONAL:

None

QUESTIONS ANSWERED BY REGIONAL:

LA-001-D: When are the prestige awards for SCARE’05 going to be finished

and awarded? I have two members that played NPC’s at SCARE’05 for the NST

who then told them they would get national prestige for it. They have not

yet received their prestige. What can be done about this?

Answer: The prestige can be found on the Camarilla website.

http://camarilla.white-wolf.com/usnc/prestige_light/search.php

TX-044-D: At least one of our members expiration date did not match

according to his profile and the CRD. Has this been a problem for other

Domains?

Answer: There are some issues resulting from White Wolf extending everyone’s

expiration date by three months. Please have your person contact me at

scrc@tcworks.net so we can resolve this issue.

TX-57-D

1. John Tucker has been waiting for his prestige audit to go through for

roughly 3 years now. I’ll be sending it up the chain again. Unfortunately

the chain has changed recently so who should I send the prestige audit to?

I’ll just be sending it to the ARC Prestige. If you have any comments please

let me know.

Answer: I have received Mr. Tucker’s prestige log and have forwarded it to

Donna Molsbee, ARC Prestige.

2. When my term ends in June who do I need to contact about the election of

a new DC?

I’m guessing the ARC Elections.

Answer: Your guess is correct. Please contact Bert Sanders, ARC – Elections

and Special Projects.

TX-064-D:

1) I remember Adam Tomplait, US2005085963 was announced over the

us-sc-region list that he was the new ARC-Charities. When I search the RC

contact list on us-sc-coord and the SC RC Report 04/06, he is not listed in

neither the staff section nor the prestige section. Is this an oversight??

If so, is he going to be listed in the SC RC Report 05/06 w/ the prestige

awards for both months??

Answer: Yes. The website is being updated with the contact information and

should have the new information over the weekend.

2) Who do I need to contact to get our local domain list monitored for list

moderation awards and can we get the awards backdated since the list was

created?? (Asked before but never answered.)

Answer: That award is based on the number of messages that cross your lists.

Please contact me at scrc@tcworks.net about these awards.

3) Is the MC listing in the Regional Report being updated?? I noticed that

Shelley Welch is not listed as MC 9, which she was awarded on 03/07/06.

Also, Josh Berthelot is not listed under the MC 9 section of the 04/06

Report, where as it was awarded in the 03/06 Report. I think its an old

list used but wanted to be sure.

Answer: It is an old list, the link that generates that report has not been

fixed just yet. Thanks for noting that so we can update it manually.

Does anyone know who completed Josh Berthelot, US2002022460, MC 9 Review??

The 03/06 Report section XI, Donna poses a question to Howie if he approved

the Audit, but no answer is given. Down a little bit, MC 9 is awarded. The

next would be: where is the log, Josh nor the formerDC has received a copy

of the approved log. Once the log is found, can a copy be sent to Josh, the

new DC, and up to National for Lockdown under the open prestige review

2001??
