Non-Member & Non-Registered Rules

*All members of the Camarilla will be held to Code of Conduct regardless of their status at SCARE 2009. This includes but is not limited to club members staying at the hotel who are not registered with the convention and thus do not hold a Convention badge as well as registered badge holding members.

*SCARE 2009 is a Camarilla sanctioned event therefore all members will be held to any and all rules of the Camarilla, Code of Conduct, and any special (NCA approved) SCARE rules.

  • Club Members who violate the any rules of the Camarilla, Code of Conduct, or any special (NCA approved) SCARE rules WILL be subject to Disciplinary Actions regardless of the club member’s status at SCARE. Both registered and non registered club members will be subject to disciplinary actions for any and all rules volitions.

  • Only club members who are registered with the convention and who are wearing their convention badge will be permitted to enter official convention space. Registered members caught without their convention badge will be asked to leave the convention space to retrieve their badge. Official convention space includes but is not limited to Con Ops, Security HQ, all workshops, charity auctions, hospitality, regional and town hall meeting, as well as all IC areas (including the lobby and outside smoking areas). Basically, if you are not in your room you should wear your convention badge at all time to avoid being stopped by team-security. This allows the hotel and team-security to identify members of the convention.

  • Members of the Camarilla who are not registered with the convention and who are not badge holders are not allowed to enter official convention space. Official convention space includes but is not limited to Con Ops, Security HQ, all workshops, charity auctions, hospitality, regional and town hall meeting, as well as all IC areas. Non-registered members will be given one verbal warning if they are found in official convention space. After one verbal warning the non-registered member will be asked to return to their room. If that member is found in official Con space a third time, disciplinary actions be issued for violating convention rules. Anything after 4 violations the SCARE staff will ask the hotel staff to remove the individual from the hotel.

  • Non-registered members are not allowed to participate in any form of role play within the hotel. Camarilla sanctioned role play is reserved for registered members ONLY. The exception to this rule is IC phone calls and RP in private rooms, however not experience points can be claimed without being registered with the convention.

  • Persons who are not members of the Camarilla are not allowed to enter official convention space. Official convention space includes but is not limited to Con Ops, Security HQ, all workshops, charity auctions, hospitality, regional and town hall meeting, as well as all IC areas. Non-members will be given one verbal warning if they are found in official convention space. After one verbal warning the non-member will be asked to leave the con space and there name and description will be given to hotel. If that person is found in official Con space a third time SCARE staff will ask the hotel staff to remove the individual from the hotel.

  • Members whose guests are repeatedly disruptive will have their badges revoked and asked to leave the convention.

  • Due to liability issues, non-members may not volunteer for NCA approved activates like Hospitality, unless they register for a 30-Day Free Trial Membership which then holds them to the Camarilla Code of Conduct. They would then receive a Volunteer Badge. Volunteer Badges do not grant unlimited access to the official convention space they are restricted access badges. Volunteers may only be in the area which they are volunteering.
